Sate Fair

On Saturday David and I went to the State Fair in Salt Lake. We had a blast!!! When we first got there and we were standing in line waiting to buy our tickets a guy walked up to us and gave us a free ticket. Apparently they had more tickets then they had people in their group. That was great for us now we only had to buy one! Also waiting in line we were watching all the interesting people walk by.  The lady in front of us was talking away on what we thought was her phone. She was making big gestures talking kind of loud and waiting for a response from the person she was talking too. Well then David and I noticed that she was not talking on a phone. She was indeed talking to herself and her "imaginary" friend. It was quit entertaining.
Once we got inside I dragged David to go see the animals. I tried to convince him to buy me a bunny but I failed. I also had a lot of fun naming all the animals I encountered.  When we were playing with the sheep we ran into some of David's family. (Mark, Jen & Katlyin (sp) and Bob & Maryanne (sp)). We decided that we would meet up later for the Rodeo that night.
We then looked at some of the booths and roamed around waiting for the Rodeo to start. David did buy me a claghdahh ring (an Irish wedding ring, hands holding a heart with a crown). It made me happy.
We met up with the family and crowded in to see the Rodeo.  It was really fun we saw some horse bucking and calf tying.  I really am a cowgirl at heart!
So we had a lot of fun and it was a good date!
