Jessica's Wedding and weekend fun

On November 14th my best friend got married! I'm so happy for her!
Ok so to build up to the big day...
On November 12th Jessica went through the St. George Temple to receive her endowments. It was so nice to see her there with her family and Tyrone's family. I wish David was there with me (he had to work).
On Thursday Jessica and I had a girl day. We went and got our nails done and had a good time. Later that night Jessica and Tyrone had a Luau. It was so cute. It was mostly Tyrone's family. They sang Hawaiian songs and then they played a video of the both of them growing up. Again that was so cute.
Friday was the day of the wedding and I was the maid-of-
honor. I went and got my hair done and David flew in and met me at the temple.  The sealing was an all white sealing. Jessica looked so beautiful and Tyrone looked handsome. And the room was filled with friends and family that loved them.
Once everyone came out of the temple and we greeted the now newly wed couple it was picture time.
Later was the ring ceremony which led right into the reception.
I loved their cake.
when they left they left on a really cool fire truck.
I am really really happy for the both of them!

Ok so after the wedding David and I took our own little "remember our honeymoon" trip to Mesquite/Las Vegas. We drove to Mesquite and stayed at the Virgin River (which I don't recommend it was kinda sketchy) and they next day we went to Vegas. We just bummed around and walked around some of the hotels and just had fun.  Then we drove back to St. George and went to the new James Bond movie which was just cool. Lots of explosions and sexy Daniel Craig.
Well now we are home and getting ready to go back down to St. George for my sisters play

PS I'm excited for Thanksgiving

Halloween, Birthday, Jessica

Halloween
halloween was a lot of fun. Before we went out David's cousin brought by her little girl Katlyn. She was so cute! She was dressed as a little giraffe. We then went to our ward activity were we actually won scariest costumes Sweet! When the party was over we went over to our friends Kristen and Mikes house were we played SceneIt Disney where we won again!
Birthday
My birthday was Nov 5th. I turned 22
yay! David and I went out to dinner at Applebee's with Davids friend Kyle. And thats about it

Jessica's Bridal
I drove down to St. George for Jessica's Bridal shower which was Friday. It was fun. She played the game where you have to chew a piece of gum for every question she got wrong
and she opened a lot of fun presents including a can of whip cream!
Vegas
I took Jessica and her sister to Las Vegas for her bachelorette party. We stayed at the Rivera which was recently re-modeled so it was really nice (but still affordable) Amber and I wore shirts that Said Team Jessica and Jess wore a shirt that said It's My Day Bitches!
We then went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was delicious! Afterwards we went back to the hotel where a limo picked us up to take us to the Sapphire club which ended up being really lame!  First they made us sit at the bar on the side were women were stripping, then when they let us go in the guys were totally inappropriate! And we were all upset that it was not the show that was advertised!  So we left. We instead went to LAX club in the Luxor. It was so much better and a lot more fun.  When got to the club  and got in line we were surprised that there weren't a lot of people in line and the bouncer asked if we were on the guest list or staying at the hotel we said no. He told us to just stay in this line. Ok... So we got to the front (there were only 5 people in front of us) showed them our IDs and they let us in for free! We then saw the line we should have been in wow that line was long!  While in the club we noticed a lot of people taking pictures of something.  And then we saw Criss Angel and Holly (Campbell? Heffs now ex-girlfriend).
It was cool but we kept dancing then all of a sudden they walked down into the crowed and stopped right by us! Awesome!!! It was cool.
We had a lot of fun and Jessica was happy

I am now home but get to drive back to St. George again tomorrow to go to the temple with Jessica and then I'll just stay till the wedding which is Nov 14th! I'm so excited for her!

Its been awhile...

Ok so it has been awhile since I posted on here so her is an update.
So I love fall and I love Halloween!  I also love pumpkins! At one point we had 6 pumpkins!
To find some of these wonderful pumpkins I wanted to go to a pumpkin patch.  So I dragged David to the HeeHaws Farm.  We had to take a really

ghetto hay ride to the pumpkin patch but it was fun.  Once we got there we literally got to cut the pumpkins off the vine.  I'm so glad David like to humor me and do things like this with me.
We then got together with Alyssha and Lar
s and carved our wond
erful pumpkins!

David carved Strong Bad (for those of you who don't know who that is go here www.homestarrunner.com)
and I carved a hunted mansion.

We are not going all out on our costumes this year and just doing kinda of simple things.  Heck we bought our costumes at the D.I.!  David is going to be mauled by some savaged beast and I got electrocuted.   I'll have to take pictures and post them here.

On a less exciting note...my car is dying! I'm so sad. We had to take it in to be looked at because there was a really bad burning smell and smoke coming out from under the hood. Well the mechanic said it was leaking oil in a really hard place to get too so even though the parts are $50 we have to pay $800 just for the labor!!!!  Well in speaking with other people this price was actually on the low end!!!! But thankfully Lars, our friend, is going to look at it and fix it for us for just the cost of the parts. Yes!!!
We are looking at selling my car and getting a newer car (thats NOT a ford) maybe a Honda Fit?

So thats our life in a nutshell over the past month!

Last Weekend

So this past weekend we had a lot of fun!
We attempted on Friday to drive up to Bridal veil falls. They were showing movies up there and the leaves are starting to change. Well by the time David got home and we got some dinner the sun was starting to set. Then when we got up there the movie they were showing was some African war dance documentary so we decide to drive to Sundance and walk around but of course the sun had set so we were walking around in the dark.

Saturday we were going to get a lot of cleaning done and attempt Sundance again.  Well we got the cleaning done but Marc and Jen called to see if we would babysit Kaitlyn. Of course we said yes! Kaitlyn is so cute and so much fun!

Sunday after sleeping in (yes we missed church, but you would too if you didn't sleep at all, felt yucky, and had church and 8 am) We finally made it up the canyon. We drove most of the Alpine Loop and it was a lot of fun to see all the leaves and to get a lot of good fresh air. I love being outside!  While we were up there we stopped and thought we would hike a little 2 miles to a waterfall. Well I was in flip flops and I had tightish jeans on so it was hard to hike up hill, and David's shoes were not the best for hiking so we made it half way before we turned around before it got too dark. But we did collect a lot of pretty leaves and berries!

:My second pumpkin I bought and leaves I collected on my table:

Monday we had Marc, Jen, and Kaitlyn back over for dinner. Which I think was really good.  It was a really good pasta with sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, artichoke hearts and sausage. Really good! And then a salad with a Gorgonzola cheese dressing. And for dessert we had flambe strawberries with a scoop cheesecake on top.  (If you want any of the recipes let me know they were really really good)

Long one.....

Here is what has been going on....

I'm falling apart. I have gained 20 lbs in 1 week (back in July) and I can't seem to lose any of it even though I eat fairly healthy ( I cut sugar out of my diet and upped the fruit and veggie intake) I work out 5 days week for at least 1-2 hours with lots of cardio.  The only good thing is I can tell I'm stronger but no weight loss and no inch lost... it seems odd to me. I even got a blood test to see if it was some sort of thyroid problem but it came back normal.  Also for several years I have had a sharp stabbing pain on my right side right under my ribs. It is totally random when it hurts and it can last anywhere from 20 min to 2 hours. So I had a Hidea Scan on Monday. They injected my with radio active enzymes and had me lay on a table for 45 min while a machine took a picture of my gall bladder every min. and then they hooked me up to an I.V. which again I had to lay there for another 45 min as it look more pictures! I still don't have the results of that yet.  Then my right leg falls asleep. It used to be only when it was straight but now its kinda more speratic (sp?) and its very annoying. It even wakes me up at night! Lame!!!
So I got an anti-inflammatory medicine to see if that helps (It hasn't so far). If it doesn't work I'll have to go back in for more test including a nerve test. Blah!
So as you can see I'm falling apart!

I feel bad for David because I've been kinda down with everything that is happening to me. But he really is the greatest! At one of my lowest moments this week he went out and bought me some beautiful red roses! i love him so much!!!

Other then that school is going great! I got a B on my first biology test (which is good for me) and I turned in my first English paper (which I think I did well on seeing has David helped write most of it lol)

On a completely different note. Kelsey, my little sister, and her friend came up for a BYU thing. It was really fun to have them stay with us.  They were at BYU all day on Friday so after they were done David and I took them out for Gelato. The next day they had to be there at 8 in the morning and I got to take them woohoo! While they were at BYU I got my hair cut. I really like it! I put a few layers in and then took 2 in off the length. Its really cute!

Ok I think thats it for now....

A lot done

Today David and I worked on cleaning out our second bedroom. We still had a lot of boxes that we hadn't gone through since we moved in. I really want to have that room be an office/craft/guest room, but with all the stuff in there, there was no room for anything else.
Anyways...David and I got rid of a ton of stuff took a lot down to the trash and a few boxes to DI. And we are still not done. We have to go to Target or something to get some nice organizing containers. But it feels really good to get a lot of it organized and thrown out.
That is all :)

9/11

I just wanted to take a minute to remember 9/11/01.
I remember that I was being woken up by my mother getting me ready to go to seminary. We were listening to the radio all the way to the church. Once in class we listened on the radio again.
All day at school we watched the news. And the Principle had an emergency assembly for the whole school. The school counselors were going to be available to anyone who needed it. It was really shocking and I was on the west cost!
I can't even imagine what it would have been like to actually be there in New York. To watch the plane fly into the building to hear the cries for help.  I am so thankful to all those brave men and women who ran into the deteriorating buildings to help others escape not even thinking twice as to what would happen to them. Thank you to all the Firemen, Police and EMS who responded.
It was a terrible day and we lost many friends and family. I pray for the families who lost someone that day, and I pray for our troops who are fighting to keep us safe.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
