Long one.....

Here is what has been going on....

I'm falling apart. I have gained 20 lbs in 1 week (back in July) and I can't seem to lose any of it even though I eat fairly healthy ( I cut sugar out of my diet and upped the fruit and veggie intake) I work out 5 days week for at least 1-2 hours with lots of cardio.  The only good thing is I can tell I'm stronger but no weight loss and no inch lost... it seems odd to me. I even got a blood test to see if it was some sort of thyroid problem but it came back normal.  Also for several years I have had a sharp stabbing pain on my right side right under my ribs. It is totally random when it hurts and it can last anywhere from 20 min to 2 hours. So I had a Hidea Scan on Monday. They injected my with radio active enzymes and had me lay on a table for 45 min while a machine took a picture of my gall bladder every min. and then they hooked me up to an I.V. which again I had to lay there for another 45 min as it look more pictures! I still don't have the results of that yet.  Then my right leg falls asleep. It used to be only when it was straight but now its kinda more speratic (sp?) and its very annoying. It even wakes me up at night! Lame!!!
So I got an anti-inflammatory medicine to see if that helps (It hasn't so far). If it doesn't work I'll have to go back in for more test including a nerve test. Blah!
So as you can see I'm falling apart!

I feel bad for David because I've been kinda down with everything that is happening to me. But he really is the greatest! At one of my lowest moments this week he went out and bought me some beautiful red roses! i love him so much!!!

Other then that school is going great! I got a B on my first biology test (which is good for me) and I turned in my first English paper (which I think I did well on seeing has David helped write most of it lol)

On a completely different note. Kelsey, my little sister, and her friend came up for a BYU thing. It was really fun to have them stay with us.  They were at BYU all day on Friday so after they were done David and I took them out for Gelato. The next day they had to be there at 8 in the morning and I got to take them woohoo! While they were at BYU I got my hair cut. I really like it! I put a few layers in and then took 2 in off the length. Its really cute!

Ok I think thats it for now....

A lot done

Today David and I worked on cleaning out our second bedroom. We still had a lot of boxes that we hadn't gone through since we moved in. I really want to have that room be an office/craft/guest room, but with all the stuff in there, there was no room for anything else.
Anyways...David and I got rid of a ton of stuff took a lot down to the trash and a few boxes to DI. And we are still not done. We have to go to Target or something to get some nice organizing containers. But it feels really good to get a lot of it organized and thrown out.
That is all :)

9/11

I just wanted to take a minute to remember 9/11/01.
I remember that I was being woken up by my mother getting me ready to go to seminary. We were listening to the radio all the way to the church. Once in class we listened on the radio again.
All day at school we watched the news. And the Principle had an emergency assembly for the whole school. The school counselors were going to be available to anyone who needed it. It was really shocking and I was on the west cost!
I can't even imagine what it would have been like to actually be there in New York. To watch the plane fly into the building to hear the cries for help.  I am so thankful to all those brave men and women who ran into the deteriorating buildings to help others escape not even thinking twice as to what would happen to them. Thank you to all the Firemen, Police and EMS who responded.
It was a terrible day and we lost many friends and family. I pray for the families who lost someone that day, and I pray for our troops who are fighting to keep us safe.
GOD BLESS AMERICA

Sate Fair

On Saturday David and I went to the State Fair in Salt Lake. We had a blast!!! When we first got there and we were standing in line waiting to buy our tickets a guy walked up to us and gave us a free ticket. Apparently they had more tickets then they had people in their group. That was great for us now we only had to buy one! Also waiting in line we were watching all the interesting people walk by.  The lady in front of us was talking away on what we thought was her phone. She was making big gestures talking kind of loud and waiting for a response from the person she was talking too. Well then David and I noticed that she was not talking on a phone. She was indeed talking to herself and her "imaginary" friend. It was quit entertaining.
Once we got inside I dragged David to go see the animals. I tried to convince him to buy me a bunny but I failed. I also had a lot of fun naming all the animals I encountered.  When we were playing with the sheep we ran into some of David's family. (Mark, Jen & Katlyin (sp) and Bob & Maryanne (sp)). We decided that we would meet up later for the Rodeo that night.
We then looked at some of the booths and roamed around waiting for the Rodeo to start. David did buy me a claghdahh ring (an Irish wedding ring, hands holding a heart with a crown). It made me happy.
We met up with the family and crowded in to see the Rodeo.  It was really fun we saw some horse bucking and calf tying.  I really am a cowgirl at heart!
So we had a lot of fun and it was a good date!
